I have a passion for childcare and have worked in the field since 1991. When I left my position at a Service Canada Small Business Program, I realized that I had to spend more time working with my own children who were diagnosed with Autism.
Now that they are mostly set up with great resources and a support team, I can really get to work. I lived in Tokyo for a few years and really immersed myself in the depths of the culture in Tokyo. It was insightful. Growing up in East Vancouver as a visible minority made me want to fight for the equality of all individuals.

Business Advisor roles include helping people enter the program and receive funding. The program encouraged writing a business plan and receiving support from the business advisor for 48 weeks of the program. I also planned round table events for a few hundred past participants of the program.
